Instructors
Beth White
As Head Instructor of White Lightning, Beth White is a 4th Dan with thirty years experience in the martial arts. She has been representing Canada since 1988 at the CNE International Team Competition, and throughout the years at various international venues including the World Championships in Holland in 2000, as coach and competitor at the 2002 World Championships in Miami, and most recently at the World Championships in Birmingham, England in 2007. In 2000, she was ranked first in the North American National Blackbelt League for the Great Lakes Region for both patterns and sparring.
Mrs. White is also a certified coach and fitness instructor with a background in amateur boxing and kickboxing.
Glen White
As Manager and Instructor of White Lightning, Glen White has been active in Taekwondo for almost twenty-five years. He has trained and competed internationally, most recently at the 2007 World Championships in Birmingham, England. He is also a certified taekwondo referee.
Mr. White has taught seminars on bullying in local schools as well as self-defence classes. His most important role, however, is as mentor for the students in their life-skill development.
